The Fowlerville Family Fair is owned and operated by the Fowlerville Agricultural Society.  The Fowlerville Agricultural Society was established in 1886, and became a Non-Profit 501(3)(c) status in 1940. Thus making the 2011 the 125th annual fair.

The FAS is made up of at least100 current members. Annually holding a meeting to elect a new Board of Directors. The Board of Directors make the majority of the decisions regarding the operation of the Fowlerville Family Fair and the grounds. The Board of Directors consists of 16 members, and four of them being Executive Directors. The Executive Directors are nominated and voted in by the 16 Board of Directors. Each Director holds a three year term. The Executive Directors are voted in annually.
