Community Spelling Bee Sponsored by Ventra Fowlerville, LLC

The Community Spelling Bee is open to all students who have recently completed 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. There will be two competitions; one for the 5th and 6th graders and one for the 7th and 8th Graders. Registration is free. Winning prizes equaling $1000.00 in savings bonds.

The Spelling Bee will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 in the Coughran School House in the Historical Village on the north end of the Fowlerville Family Fairgrounds. Registration and check-in for the 5th and 6th grade Bee will begin at 9:00 a.m., with the Bee beginning at 10:00 a.m. Registration and check-in for the 7th and 8th grade Bee will begin at 10:00 a.m., with their Bee to begin immediately following the finish of the lower class Bee. Please be ready and available for the start of the Bee. The Bee organizers will not wait for anyone under any circumstances.

The registrant and one parent or guardian will be allowed access to the grounds free of charge with pre-registration. Participants who have not pre-registered must pay full gate admission. Any additional guests or observers must pay full gate admission. There are no exceptions to this rule.
